What Is This World Coming To?

Ran across this link posted on Eric Schwaab's site by a commenter, and now placed on the front page of his blog.

This kid obviously has no idea what he is talking about. It's sad that people use kids like this. Sure it's "cute", but it sure isn't right. That kid deserves better than this.

I don't have a problem with wishing someone "Happy Birthday" (Happy 50th Eric), but when you have the kid talk about political issues he knows nothing about it really makes me wonder what is happening to this world.

there are a few of you who have blogs that have come on the scene to present a different view than the hate blogs.
They should all be linked to each other, these are the others:

Barnstable Blog
Barnstable COG Blaster
Seven Villages Blog
The DotCommons
Jim Munafo

To Oct. 15, 1:10PM - That boy is the child of a woman running for charter commission who will stop at nothing to support Schwaab, herself, and other Coggers. She posts comments on many blogs under different identities. You can spot her writing because she is so crude and vulgar and she always lashes out in anger at the most innocent and innocuous comments - usually from people just trying to get to the facts so as to make an informed choice in the upcoming election.

Thanks for giving us an alternative look at what is going on in town.

That child is Taryn Thoman's 6 year old son. She is running for charter commission in case you didn't know of her. Pretty sad, huh?

I think that is great. Seeing the purpose of this blog with a link to a personal video message, shows the voters who portrays hate with personal attacks. The other blogs, like Schwaabs and Gary's, show what we need for reform.

Going to be nice having Schwaab in office.

Mr. Ouimette, I'm glad that we agree that the video is awful!

However, let me remind you that I did not make this video. This is not a hateful personal attack by me - IT'S A DIRECT LINK FROM SCHWAAB'S SITE. SCHWAAB IS THE ONE THAT POSTED IT ON THE FRONT PAGE OF HIS BLOG! He LOVES the vid.

If manipulating and using 6-year-olds is the "reform" that you're looking for, than Barnstable is in REAL trouble.

It was sarcasm....

Kids are products of ourselves. If the kids grow up and form another opinion when they get older, then great. That's their right.

Schwaab will win.

I can't believe anybody would think it was ok to use a child for their own personal interest and post their video image on u-tube surrounding a nasty, mean spirited political campaign turned ugly by a bunch or extremists. It is certainly ok to have different points of view. That is what makes our country what it is-but you also need to understand that just because people don't agree with your point of view doesn't mean they are wrong. If you Mr. Schwaab and Ms. Thoman cannot respect other people's opinions, how do you intend to productively serve as a member of town government? You need to be able to work together with people, many of which do not agree with you. Maybe you should try anger management or some more counceling on the house!
